My name is Dusty Beenen and I having been working for DPT Mechanical for 3 years.  After coming on full time in the spring of 2005, I became an outside sales engineer covering the eastern Iowa territory.  I currently cover north central Iowa down to south eastern Iowa including Mason City, Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Burlington.

I am a 2001 graduate of Ankeny High School just north of  Des Moines where I grew up.  I went to Iowa State University and received a degree in mechanical engineering in 2005.  While in college I worked for a MEP engineering consultant in West Des Moines as a mechanical designer, where I learned basic mechanical design work including ductwork, piping , and system design.  My senior year I took an internship with DPT and have been there ever since.

I now live in Ankeny with my wife, Bonny and son, Greyson.  We have three Labrador retrievers who we consider our second, third, and fourth child.  While not hard at work, I spend a great deal of time working with our retrievers, as well as spending my hunting and camping.  With our recent addition to the family, Greyson, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our families who also live in Ankeny.
